Wahan koi rutbay mein adna na aali

Muradon se daman nahi koi khaali

Qataarein lagae kharay hain sawali

Main pehle pehal jab Madinay gaya tha

To thi dil ki haalat tarap janay wali

Woh darbaar sach much mere samne tha

Abhi tak tasawwur tha jis ka khayaali

Jo ek haath se dil ko thaame huye tha,  

To thi doosre haath Roza ki jaali

Dua ke liye haath uthte to kaise

Na ye haath khaali na woh haath khaali

Dhani apni qismat ka hai to wahi hai

Diyaar-e-Nabi ﷺ jis ne aankhon se dekha

Muqaddar hai sachha muqaddar usi ka

Nigah-e-Karam jis pe Aaqa ﷺ ne daali

Main tauseef-e-Sarkaar ﷺ kar to raha hoon

Magar apni auqaat se ba-khabar hoon

Main bas ek adna sana-khwaan hoon unka

The gate of mercy is open for all,
There’s no high or low in that sacred hall.

No soul returns with desires denied,
Seekers in rows stand side by side.

The very first time I went to Madinah,
My heart was trembling, filled with shiver.

That blessed court stood before my eyes,
Once just a dream, a thought to visualize.

When I raised my hands in humble prayer,
Neither hand was left empty there.

Truly wealthy is the one whose fate,
Lets him see the Prophet’s ﷺ blessed gate.
Fortunate indeed is he who’s blessed,
With the Prophet’s ﷺ gaze of kindness addressed.

I praise my Master ﷺ as best I can,
Yet know my worth, a humble man.
I’m only a servant, a simple voice,
While lofty verses of praise rejoice.
