Ya nabi salam alaika lyrics

It is dawn’s hour, and pure little buds beam with joy,

The winds are humming songs of welcome,

An army of angels giving salutations was singing,

Lady Amina was listening, this voice was coming:

Ya Nabi Salam Alaika

Ya Rasool Salam Alaika

Ya Habib Salam Alaika

Salawatullah Alaika

Grant whatever you wish to,

Because you are the Beloved of God,

You are Mustafa, you are Mujtaba,

Whatever I say, you are even beyond that.

Come at the time of death,

Make me recite the pure Kalima,

Save me from the deception of Satan,

Hide me within your cloak.

All in honour of the blessed People of the Cloak

For the charity of Lady Fatima,

And the Martyr of Karbala,

Let there be no sorrow on the Day of Judgement.

O Crown of Mercy,

O Ruler of both worlds,

O One ascended to the Throne,

O Protector of tears,

Knowing that you are enough support,

I have taken your doorstep,

O inheritor of creation, for God’s sake,

Please now accept this Salam of mine.

O King of the Universe,

This threshold of yours,

Is a treasure of mercies,

Let there be a merciful glance.

O King of Madinah,

Your chest is filled with light,

Your sweat is more fragrant than musk,

May we all see Madinah.

Your arrival,

What a beautiful time it was,

The whole world sparkled,

The houris sang melodies.

Grant me so much grace, O King of Time,

That my body be empty of the soul,

My shroud be of your city,

And I be buried in Madinah.

When will that month come,

When our ship sails,

Towards the gardens of Madinah,

Or keep me only as a beggar.

You are Mustafa, the best of creation,

The leader of both worlds,

For the sake of your pious ones,

Please care for us sinners too.

Blessed be upon the people of faith,

The morning of spring has arrived,

Every house is illuminated,

Salawatullah Alaika

The son of Lady Amina has come,

This date has arrived again,

The true dawn announced,

Salawatullah Alaika

I wish to come to your door,

Shedding rivers of tears,

Showing the wounds of my chest,

Standing before you and reciting.

O Noor, pray this prayer,

That we go to the doorstep of the Master,

First recite some Naats,

Then read this with bowed heads.

We are consumed by grief and sorrow,

Have come from far away,

Proud upon you,

Hands held out in supplication.

May the star of time shine,

The sign of acceptance of our presence,

Seeing the beloved tomb,

Then your servant will read again.

Knowing that you are enough support,

I have taken your doorstep,

O inheritor of creation, for God’s sake,

Now accept this Salam of mine.

You are the King of humans and jinn,

Indeed you hold every station,

You are the guide of both worlds,

The leader of the messengers.

You are the light of the Lord of Worlds,

The manifestation of true certainty,

Leader of the world and religion,

You reside in our hearts and eyes.

You are the King of the Prophets,

The light of Divine Essence,

Protector on the Day of Judgement,

The reliever of creation’s difficulties.

On the Supreme Throne you are,

The guide of creation you are,

The cupbearer of Kawthar you are,

The intercessor on Judgement Day you are.

To live in your desire,

To die in your search,

This is my life,

This is my servitude.

The shore of sorrow is far,

O Leader of the Worlds, for God’s sake,

Grant quick support,

Let our boat reach the shore.

O my Master, my Leader,

This is Akbar’s only wish,

First place my head at your feet,

Then lift it saying this:

Akbar the devoted is yours,

He is wandering place to place,

Calling out to you everywhere,

Now listen to him, O God.

Listen to your desiring lover,

Listen to the founder of the gathering,

Listen to the hearts of the listeners,

Listen to Akbar the wounded.

Leaving your doorstep,

Whose support shall I take?

Who else is there for me?

At whose door shall I spend my life?

The poverty of your doorstep,

Is the kingship of both worlds,

Now has come the time of old age,

For God’s sake grant your support.

O Lord, fulfill this prayer,

That we go to the doorstep of the Master,

First recite some Naats,

Then read this with bowed heads.

Those who brought faith upon you,

Why would they not give their lives for you,

The Merciful is kind upon you,

All creation is sacrificed for you.

It is hard to live in separation,

The heart and chest are torn apart,

Hold my boat,

O Intercessor of the sinners.

I wish to attain presence,

This distance be removed,

This longing of the heart be fulfilled,

May I see that radiant face.

You are seated in my heart,

This house belongs only to you,

When I die, let that land be yours,

And at my head, may it be you.

You are Noah’s savior,

The reliever of creation’s difficulties,

Everyone’s fulfiller of needs,

Whatever I say, you are beyond that.

Forgive my sins,

Remove the clouds of sorrow,

Send your blessings,

So we recite in ecstasy:

On Judgement Day grant us forgiveness,

When there is no shelter anywhere,

Hide us within your cloak,

Protect us from every calamity.

Come at the time of death,

Make me recite the pure Kalima,

Show your radiant face,

Raise us with faith.

O Intercessor of the Day of Judgement,

My record is black with sins,

For the sake of Ghaus, have mercy,

Enlighten my inner eyes.

O breeze, go to the tomb,

With folded hands say this,

O Prophet, call us to your door,

And show us your beautiful sight.

Pride of Adam, pride of Hawwa,

Pride of Noah and pride of Yahya,

Pride of Ibrahim and Musa,

Pride of Ismail and Isa.

O King of Prophethood,

Here are the people of Sunnah,

May mercy be upon all of them forever,

Bless the founder of this gathering.

Peace be upon you, life of the world,

Peace be upon you, faith of the world,

King of religion, ruler of the world,

Because of you exists the universe.

Peace be upon you, King of the world,

Peace be upon you, guardian of the Ummah,

May this beggar’s lap not remain empty,

We supplicants present this request.

Drop by drop, ocean by ocean,

Particle by particle, star by star,

When the Prophet was born,

The whole world was proclaiming.

On Judgement Day all will be aside,

The followers were breathless,

When he arrived, then all,

Seeing him, cried out:

If I could see just a glimpse,

I would sacrifice my life upon you,

I would lay my eyes in your path,

And recite with folded hands.

The leader of the companions,

First is Siddiq-e-Akbar,

Then Umar, Usman, and Haider,

Send peace upon them.

Both are shields of true religion,

Both are unmatched,

Both are sons of Fatima,

Both are from the family of Mustafa.

When I depart this world,

May my eyes see your face,

Let this be granted to Naseer,

That his head rests at your door.

You are the King of Madinah,

Your chest is filled with light,

Your sweat is more fragrant than musk,

May we all see Madinah.

Forgive my sins,

Remove the clouds of sorrow,

Send your blessings,

So we recite in ecstasy:

Peace be upon you, O dweller of the green dome,

Peace be upon you, mercy to the worlds,

Peace be upon you, messenger of all messengers,

May this humble Salam be accepted.
