Naat Lyrics In Roman Urdu
Bekhud Kiye Dete Hain
They make me lose myself — your modesty, your veil, your grace
Come, let me place you in my heart, O Radiance of Divine Face
Why did you meet my eyes? Why did you set me on fire?
Now you hide your face away — and left me lost in desire
Wherever your sight appears, that’s where I fall and pray
Doesn’t matter if it’s Kaaba or a temple along the way
I wish to offer as a gift — these very eyes of mine
A glimpse of you is a vision, a gift both sacred and fine
I lost my senses and myself — just over what you said
When you smiled and softly spoke: “Here comes my love, my madhead!”
If in this world you’ve made me yours, my bond with you complete
Then on the Day of Judgment, too, say, “He’s mine,” when we meet
Just grant me this one mercy, O wild narcissus-eyed
When my soul is at my lips, then show me your glimpse, my guide
O Baydam! In my destiny are prostrations at this gate
This stone of yours I touch not — nor will I ever, till fate
I wish to offer as a gift — these very eyes of mine
A glimpse of you is a vision, a gift both sacred and fine
Wherever your sight appears, that’s where I fall and pray
Doesn’t matter if it’s Kaaba or a temple along the way
In the Field of Resurrection — please stand there next to me
Who knows what God may ask — or what I might end up to be
I will surely drink — but one condition I must say
The Saqi should be from Ajmer, the tavern from Baghdad way
Yes I’ll drink the sacred wine — but let this condition stay
Baghdad’s Saqi should serve it, from Sirhind’s blessed café
Let one overflowing cup drench me in its flame
O Saqi! May your path be lit, and forever shine your name
My heart lights up by the glimpse — of your faithful glow so true
Now make these eyes enlightened too, O beauty, come into view
In every flower your fragrance lives, each candle holds your flame
The nightingale sings your praises, and the moth burns in your name
O Zahid! In my fate it is — to bow at only that door
This threshold I never touched — nor will, forevermore
What joy it would be in Mahshar — if I complain and moan
And you, while smiling, simply say: “Let him be, he’s my own!”
O Saqi! When you appear — the passion floods the air
Glass crashes into glass again, goblet strikes with flair
I don’t even know, O Baydam — who or what I am inside
Among my own I feel unknown, among strangers, I reside
